THE FUTURE OF BRENT IN2 WORK AND EMPLOYMENT PROVISION IN THE BOROUGH
The report attached below, outlines changes to the future role of the council in the local employment agenda and the impact of the significant reduction of available resource for the Brent in2 Work programme from April 2010, due to changes to the commissioning practices by the government and the London Development Agency (LDA).

PERSONAL BEST COURSE
The course provides each individual will a level 1 accredited qualification and an interview to volunteer at the Olympics 2012. The course is designed to equip candidates with the confidence and skills they'll need to enter the job market. The next course starts on 11th March 2010.
LANGUAGE 2 WORK
- LEARN ENGLISH AND GET HELP TO FIND A JOB!
Language2Work is designed to improve your English skills and give you practical advice on how to develop your skills to find a job. It is available for anyone living in Brent, who need help with their English and are unemployed. L2W's next course commences on 6th April 2010 and will have a capacity of approximately 40 places. |
