Language2Work is designed to improve your English skills and give you practical advice on how to develop your skills to find a job. It is available for anyone living in Brent, who need help with their English and are unemployed.
It is an intensive holistic 8 week language programme. You will work with a team who will work closely with you to put together an individual support package for you!
Participants from around the world are given help to improve their English, as well as being taught how best to fill in application forms and how they should conduct themselves at interviews.
Angela Horan, project manager, said: “The vast majority of our clients are bright, talented and enthusiastic and would be an asset to any workplace. But often they find it hard to find jobs because of difficulties with speaking or writing English or simply because they don’t fully understand the recruitment processes in this country.”
